TSJ Radio, LLC owns Gospel/WVKO (1580am, Columbus). WVKO has an FM translator W225CS (92.9fm, Columbus) owned by Sandblast, L.P. Sandblast filed this STA with the FCC. There are two issues that have prompted the filing of this STA .An adjacent operator is believed to be encroaching on the protected contour of W225CS .A period of silence is requested to facilitate preparation of measurements to support a legal challenge to the unauthorized operation .Secondly, A totally baseless claim has been made that W225CS did not receive written permission to rebroadcast the primary station . The Changing Newscasts Blog reports that Raycom's CBS affiliate WOIO-TV (Channel 19, Shaker Heights) will cut their 4:00pm weekday newscast from an hour to a half hour. This hour long 4:00pm newscast debuted in 2004.
