Cumulus wants the FCC to dismiss a Youngstown application

November 26, 2017 By Blaine

Cumulus Media wants the FCC to dismiss their application for a new translator on 99.9fm, licensed to Youngstown.  Originally, Cumulus wanted that translator to simulcast CBS Sports Radio affiliate WBBW (Sports Radio 1240am).  Cumulus asked for this dismissal to satisfy a MX application/settlement agreement with Dale Edwards’ Kingstrust LLC.  Kingstrust has an application with the FCC for their own translator on 99.9fm, licensed to Cortland.  Kingstrust’s translator will simulcast Ethnic/WKTX (830am, Cortland).
