The Changing Newscasts Blog reports that Raycom’s CBS affiliate WOIO-TV (Channel 19, Shaker Heights) will cut their 4:00pm weekday newscast from an hour to a half hour. This hour long 4:00pm newscast debuted in 2004. They made this move to accommodate “Inside Edition” at 4:30pm, followed by more local news from 5:00pm until 6:30pm.
